Yea is a town in Victoria, Australia 100 kilometres north-east of the state capital Melbourne at the junction of the Goulburn Valley Highway and the Melba Highway, in the Shire of Murrindindi local government area.
The Yea Show held the fourth weekend in November, has been a major event in Yea every year for 103 years to allow the community an insight into aspects of our rural life that includes cattle, poultry, dairy goats, horses, fleeces, horticulture, eggs, cookery and preserves, art, craft and needlework, photography, school and trade exhibits. Some of the highlights for the kids are the rides and showbags.
The show is held at the Yea Showgrounds – Snodgrass st Yea, VIC 3717.
