The Walgett annual show held in May is a popular event amongst locals. It is held at Walgett racecourse and showgrounds. Featuring Animals and events celebrating Australian agriculture, as well as showbags, rides entertainment and more. The show was due to be held on the 9-10th of May 2020 but was put on hold due to COVID-19. The committee is investigating the option of postponing to a later date rather than cancelling the 2020 Walgett Show completely. New show dates to be confirmed. Although the show has been postponed you can still purchase the much-loved showbags online via our website.
