Daylesford Show is a country carnival featuring the products and producers of the area. Visitors will see the traditional exhibits in, cut flowers, fruit and vegetables, eggs and cheese. cookery, arts and crafts, quilting, knitting, crochet and photography. They conduct a big equestrian program on the main arena for most of the day, along with horses, dogs, goats, sheep, and poultry on display. There is rides and children’s entertainment. There is, of course, the showbags as well.
There is always a program of demonstrations and activities by local enthusiasts, wood chopping, milk separating, cheese making, beekeeping, gardening crochet and some others. It’s a great day out for the family.
Since the 1950’s the Show has been conducted by the Daylesford and District Agricultural Society at Victoria park on the Ballan Road in one of the loveliest showgrounds in country Victoria
The 2020 Daylesford Agricultural Show is scheduled for Saturday, November 28th 2020.
